Sell research dinners. We run them. You keep 25%.
You bring the companies you already know. Our team and agents do everything else: the guests, the invitations, the events and the follow-up. The contract is in your name, and 25% of it is yours, every year they renew.
What you tell companies.
Tell me the five people you’d hire tomorrow. I’ll bring them to dinner with your researchers. No pitch: just the work and the people. You’ll know them before you hire them.
And the line that closes it: a year with the people they most want, for less than the fee on one senior placement.
The researchers and engineers companies most want aren’t looking, and they ignore recruiters. What moves them is the work and the people, and they rarely meet either until an interview.

- 01
The people they want to hire
By name, by paper, by repository, or by the team they want to build.
- 02
Invited by the right person
Each guest invited by a researcher they would want to meet, in that person’s name, with approval.
- 03
Around the work, not the job
A dinner or a talk around one problem the team is working on. Nobody is pitched a job.
- 04
Something personal for every guest
A gift chosen for them, and the introductions worth continuing.
- 05
Who wants to keep talking
After each dinner, the company hears who wants to keep talking, and only when both sides said yes.
Your agency. Our team and agents behind it.
You’ve spent a career knowing who companies want to hire, and how to reach them. We give you the operation to deliver it, so you can sell without hiring anyone: agents that do the work, and a team that makes sure it lands.

Your IRL Lab team Make sure it lands.
- A dedicated account manager
- Help to close: a proposal in your name, a live demo, and us on the call
- Every technical question, answered
- Every event run, and anything that goes wrong handled
You walk in ready to sell.
Before you meet a company, we prepare everything you need to close it, in your name. Three weeks after they sign, their first dinner happens.
A deck in your name
The pitch for that company, with your name on it, not ours.
A proposal
Who they meet, how often, and what it costs. $400 a researcher. Start them with one research dinner: 25 researchers, $10,000.
A plan for their first dinner
The guests we would invite for that company, and the evening we would run.
A live demo, and us
We show it working, and join the call when you want us there.
You sell. We run it.
- Monday
Twenty minutes with your account manager
What’s running, what’s next, and anything that needs you.
- Tuesday
A meeting with a company
You bring the relationship. We bring the proposal, the demo and, if you want, ourselves.
- Wednesday
Approve what goes out
Invitations, plans and reports wait for your yes, on your phone.
- Thursday
You host the research dinner
The people your client wants to hire, at one table with the researchers they’d work with. You host. We handle everything else.
- Friday
A report on what it led to
For you and for the company: who met, and what happened next.
25% of every contract.
Companies pay $400 for each researcher who comes. A company that meets 300 researchers a year, about one dinner a month, is a $120,000 contract, and $30,000 of it is yours, again every year they renew. Food and venue are paid by the company, separately. Everything else is on us.
Already running for companies you know.
We already run dinners for Cerebras, Zoom and Zscaler: the kind of companies you’ll be selling to.
Before you apply.
Whose name is on the contract?
Yours. You sign the company and bill them. IRL Lab bills you, never your client. We give you the contract, the proposal and everything else you need.
How do I get paid?
You keep 25% of every contract, and of every renewal. Companies pay $400 for each researcher who comes. Food and venue they pay for separately. Everything else is on us: the agents, the team and the planning.
What if fewer people come?
Your client pays only for the people who come. What they pay goes in as credit, each guest who comes is drawn from it, and anything left stays as credit for their next dinner.
What if an event goes wrong?
Our team runs every event with you and handles anything that goes wrong. Your client sees you, and a dinner that worked.
Can I approve everything my client sees?
Yes. Every invitation, plan and report waits for your yes before it reaches your client.
Do I need a team, or to be technical?
No. Our team and agents do the work, and we answer every technical question, on the call if you want. You bring the relationships and the judgement.
How fast does it start?
Three weeks from a signed contract to the first dinner.
How many companies can I work with?
Start with one. Because the agents do the work, one person can serve five.
